If you get the error message "Error reading linearized Hint data" follow the instructions below to correct it.

If you are using Internet Explorer or Netscape to go to a URL containing a PDF file, you may get an error message, "Error reading linearized hint data" when you try to open some PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can correct this problem in Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 or 6 by doing the following:
Close down your Internet Explorer program go to the programs menu and open the Adobe Acrobat Reader, click Edit, click Preferences, select "Internet" in the table on the left, uncheck "Allow Fast Web View.", and click OK to save the changes.
